Honeybees play a crucial role as pollinators for blueberry plants, resulting in an increase in blossoms and fruit. During the spring, honeybee hives are strategically placed in wild blueberry fields to aid in pollination.
These bees collect nectar from the small white flowers of the blueberry bush, producing a light amber honey with a well-rounded flavor. This honey is known for its delicate nature and just a hint of blueberry.
Our blueberry honey, like all our honey is unpasteurized, includes pollen and propolis giving it the anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties.
